Sacks is bullish on SpaceX as Elon's life's work and a wealth-creating machine, predicting Elon will hold his shares well beyond the one-year lockup because SpaceX represents a machine that will continue creating value for humanity.

He's under a one-year lockup, and I predict that he'll hold on for much longer than that because creating SpaceX is his life's work.

Chamath views SpaceX as a unique, one-of-a-kind company that has peaked in price-to-sales and will grow into and beyond its current valuation, with a likely Tesla merger ahead that will be transformative.

It's an incredible company. It's a one of one. It's just a unique, unique animal. I think that the highest price to sales was essentially these last few days. And now it's just going to grow into its valuation and generally just grow

Sacks argues Anthropic's doomtrolling, regulatory-capture strategy, and mishandling of the Fable/Mythos situation has broken government trust, created a damaging precedent, and opened the door for hyperscalers to displace them as gatekeeper — a self-inflicted competitive wound.

Once you're in one of these situations, it's always harder to extricate yourself than to avoid getting in them in the first place because the trust is broken. The trust is now gone.

Chamath acknowledges Anthropic's strong revenue growth and shareholder returns but argues the Frontier Lab leaders — especially Anthropic's — are consistently evasive and immature, creating regulatory and trust risks that will hand market control to hyperscalers and damage the broader AI ecosystem.

I think the revenue run rate of this business continues to accelerate. All of it's incredible, but I want to understand this person. I am paying millions of dollars, and so I just want to understand.

Chamath argues Amazon (and other hyperscalers) stands to benefit enormously from Anthropic's self-inflicted trust crisis, positioning AWS and its peers to become the KYC-gated, government-backed gatekeepers for AI — a lucrative oligopoly role that hyperscalers are well-positioned to fill given their existing compliance and cloud infrastructure.

What does that create? Now that creates an oligopoly for AI, the most powerful economically leveling instrument we've ever seen in the hands of maybe a handful of hyperscalers... the hyperscalers are out over their ski tips... The best

Chamath argues that once SpaceX's appreciation is factored in, it effectively acquired Cursor for only ~$15 billion — calling it an incredible deal that reflects Elon's off-the-charts business intellect.

What I didn't factor as well is that the revenue run rate would essentially double on top of that. So he essentially got Cursor for $15 billion. Which is unbelievable. His business intellect is off the charts. That is an incredible deal.
